Members’ Day marked an important milestone for our association. The newly appointed 2026/2027 committee took the stage to present their strategic vision and operational roadmap for the term ahead.

From expanding vendor education and launching new destination wedding initiatives to fostering strategic partnerships and host venues across Malaysia, the session offered a transparent look into how AWP plans to continue advocating for higher standards, sustainable growth, and better resources for all our members.

Bringing together 25 attendees—a vibrant mix of founding members, new joiners, and visiting wedding peers—the afternoon quickly turned into an engaging forum of ideas.

Planners, photographers, cinematographers, stylists, and talent gathered over coffee to discuss the real-world realities of running creative businesses in today’s evolving market. From navigating changing client expectations to setting healthier boundaries and building sustainable pricing models, the open exchange of knowledge reaffirmed the power of having a safe, professional sounding board.
