Recapping AWP Malaysia’s First-Ever Members’ Day Meetup 2026

Before the wedding season peak kicked into full gear, our community gathered to kick off the term in the most casual, high-energy way possible: by trading our weekend event shoes for bowling shoes!

On May 5, 2026, AWP Malaysia hosted its very first official Members’ Day meetup at Wangsa Bowl, 1 Utama. Designed as a fun, low-pressure morning, the event brought together seasoned committee members, longtime partners, and new industry peers for a few rounds of friendly competition and effortless networking.

Breaking the Ice Beyond the Ballroom

In the wedding world, we usually see each other on high-stakes event days—navigating tight setup timelines, running behind cameras, or directing guest flows. Our inaugural Members’ Day offered a welcome change of pace: a chance to step out of “work mode” and simply connect as fellow human beings and business owners.
